After
the establishment of successful THz/IR program and user community at
the synchrotron ANKA, the Karlsruhe Research Center (Forschungszentrum
Karlsruhe, FZK) proposes to build a novel linac based coherent
radiation source TBONE (THz
Beam Optics for New Experiments) in the THz
to Mid-IR range (more details about TBONE).
This machine will allow for high peak power spectroscopy with coherent infrared radiation from 0.1 to 1000 THz. Nonlinear excitation as well as ultrafast experiments can be realized.  |
