The research is part of the program “Structure of Matter” of the Helmholtz Gemeinschaft Deutscher Forschungszentren and funded by the initiative and networking fund of its president under VH-NG-320.

Masthead

The Young Investigators Groups of the Helmholtz Association shall promote and further strengthen collaborations between the research centers and universities.

The Young Investigators Group on Coherent THz Radiation has successfully started in May 2007 at the ANKA storage ring in Karlsruhe. To read more about our research field see the pages Mission, Projects

Our partners are the Laboratory for Applications of Synchrotron Radiation at the University of the State Baden-Württemberg, Karlsruhe and the Institute for Synchrotron Radiation at the National Laboratory of the Helmholtz Association.

To optimize the R&D related to the production of coherent THz radiation in electron storage rings and to exchange our knowledge on the subject a cooperation with BESSY (now HZB) and PTB in Berlin is in place.
