We would like to invite you to the Users Meeting of the synchrotron radiation source ANKA at the Karlsruhe Research Centre .  It will take place October 1-2, 2007.

During  the  two days, the  accelerators , the beamlines, access routes for academic users and our full service offer for industrial customers will be presented. Scientists will report on their findings in various fields of research.  The second day will introduce you to KIT, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and its prospects. You will have the opportunity to meet beamline scientists and discuss your future projects.


Meeting site:

The meeting will take place in the Center for Advanced Technological and Environmental Training (FTU –Fortbildungszentrum für Technik und Umwelt) at the Research Center (Forschungszentrum) Karlsruhe. The Research Centre is located in the vicinity of Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen (about 12 km north of Karlsruhe).Aula in FTU in building 101 of Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe.

The building 101 is situated outside of the south gate to Forschungszentrum on the left. Should you get lost the employees at Anmeldung will give you directions to the building 101.

Beginning of the meeting: 10:00 h.

 

A visit to the ANKA facility is planned during the meeting. We therefore have to enter the Forschungszentrum and it is required to bring your passport or other identification of similar status along with you.

During the time when the ANKA Users Meeting will be held, W-Lan access will be supplied.

Poster presentation
Posters will be presented during the whole meeting. Discussion in front of the posters is possible during the breaks. The poster size should not exceed 120 cm (height) x 80 cm (width), (A0 form).
